Every time I post on Instagram I get a new inquiry.
Yep, you read that right. Since I started posting consistently and using my PROVEN strategy I have gotten at least one new inquiry per post (sometimes more!) My goal with this is to prove to you that social media is absolutely key for photographers. While this took me many years to perfect I'm here to give you 25 content ideas (2-3 months worth of posts!) to help you generate leads consistently. Even better I've linked 5 POSTS that you can customize and add to your feed. Ready to get started? Let's dive in.
Starting off strong with everyone's favorite, short-form content ideas.
I know you've heard it before "Instagram Reels will take you to the top." Well, they're absolutely right. Posting 2-3 reels per week will boost your impressions GUARANTEED! I mean look at these results from posting a reel every day for one week. Get started with the ideas below.
A Reel About YOU
These are the easiest to make and one of the most effective for showing who's behind the lens. Capture a video of you taking photos, cleaning, making food, walking, truly anything, and add in text with 5-10 things your followers might not know about you.
For the *algorithim*
Yes, you can and you should try to hack the algorithim, I mean your hard work should pay off, why not make it a little easier! If a user watches your entire video it will be promoted into the algorithim. Using hooks that will lead users to the caption or creating a "loop" effect" are just a few ways to hack the algorithim.
Entertainment>>
Social media was made to entertain, so it makes sense that entertaining content performs the best across any social media platform! Whether your educating your followers on your client experience or trying out the latest trend keep it engaging and fun.
Consistency
One reel is great, but each additional reel you post after tends to get more views. The algorithm loves consistency and will push ALL of your posts if you're active every day, especially with reels. So what should you actually post? I've made up a list to get you started:
